Melanie is a life-long inhabitant of the Shire - sorry, East Vancouver - and loves creating and holding space for young people to enter into God's good Story imaginatively, curiously, skeptically, wholeheartedly, playfully or any other way that they come. She graduated with an MDiv from Regent College and has been pastoring with Grandview Church for over a decade. With her two cats (both given Elvish names but mostly just referred to as Boo and Bean), Melanie enjoys living in the shadow of tall trees, making kawandi quilts at a very beginner level, reading psalms outside in the mornings surrounded by a few flowers and a lot of weeds, and baking (and eating) chocolate cake.
