Our baptism service this year will take place at New Brighton Park. We will meet at the east beach (near the pool) at 10:30, followed by a potluck. Some details to note:
- The planned baptism spot is the east beach, closest to the pool. This area is a bit more secluded and is close to five picnic tables that we’ll aim to reserve.
- New Brighton has two parking lots, as well as parking along New Brighton Road, and an accessible drop-off zone close to the pool. See the map for details.
- Bring picnic blankets, chairs, and other picnic fare. Don’t forget dishes and cutlery for eating! Please also consider bringing some food to share.
- Be prepared for wind and a bit of mud – if it’s rained recently, sometimes this area can be a bit messy.
- We encourage you to car pool if you can! Please consider reaching out to others if you are planning to drive and have an extra spot or two in your car.
